Dear Ukrainian radiation oncologists,
At the request of Help Ukraine Group (HUG) the European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology (ESTRO) has kindly offered to continue free registration for ESTRO FALCON virtual contouring workshops for 35 Ukrainian radiation oncologists.
In 2026, 8 online workshops are planned:
1. Lung Cancer SBRT – 07 April and 14 April 2026
2. Rectal Cancer – 28 May and 04 June 2026
3. Breast Cancer – 09 June and 16 June 2026
4. Thorax and Abdominal OAR – 15 September and 22 September 2026
5. Prostate SBRT – 01 October and 15 October 2026
6. Brain Tumours – 06 October and 13 October 2026
7. Head and Neck Cancer – 20 October and 27 October 2026
8. Gynaecological Cancers EBRT – 03 November and 10 November 2026
Workshops include access to EduCase contouring software and require homework completed prior to course. Please find the details for the contouring courses here: https://www.estro.org/Courses?category=9
As there are only 35 free slots, please select your 3 top choices. If the number of applications exceeds the available slots, we will select the participants based on training maximum cancer centers and also prioritizing sites transitioning from Co-60 to IMRT. Selected candidates will receive instructions via email on how to proceed with ESTRO registration for the relevant course.
