On October 11th, 2023 Dr. Sofiia-Iryna Zaluska gave a presentation on her Stanford training experience to her colleagues at Lviv Regional Cancer Center. She spoke on the advances in radiation oncology, discussed the staffing levels and brought the analogy to situation in her cancer center. Help Ukraine Group has identified a few collaborative projects for improvement and is committed to helping Lviv Regional Cancer Center to further develop in the midst of transitioning from 3D-CRT to more complex IMRT/VMAT technology. Another team of medical physicist and radiation oncologist are planned to travel to Princess Margaret Hospital in Canada for 1-month observership soon.
